Spike and peewee

I was inspired to draw this after seeing the new episode of My little pony.
I don't know why but I've always wanted to draw creatures if they were human. When I did Spike I tried to still make it look like Lauren's faust art style. So I gave him the oval shaped eyes.
And Peewee his pet Phoenix (honestly I feel he should return him to his parents) And is it me? or does peewee look like "Woodstock" (From Peanuts) crossed with a chocobo?
